Maison Balzac Sainte T Candle
A gorgeously fresh scent to bring in your new year
I am not usually remotely a floral scent kind of girl, but this candle is floral in the same way an extravagant bouquet delivered to your home by a chic friend is, the type of bouquet wrapped artfully in thick white paper folded just so. Unsurprising, really, given it was created in collaboration with Sydney floral design superstar Dr Lisa Cooper. Alongside the white blooms, this candle is green, fresh, and hopeful. It also has excellent, though not headache-inducing, throw. The fact it comes housed in my favourite vessel type, white frosted glass (white so you can see the glow it gives off when lit, yet frosted so you can’t see how depressingly little of the wax may be left) moves this into contender for my all-time favourite candle. While I may not be a floral girl, I am most certainly a picky one, so when I tell you how good this one is, know this is the opinion of one who has only ever liked about five candles across a lifetime of obsessive candle hoarding.
